Continued...again

Sorry I didn't post when I said I would. But here I am!

I took pictures of my room because it got horrendously messy and gross. I haven't uploaded them yet to my computer but I will! Then we can all have a laugh. :)

The movers came friday at 7 am! They originally were supposed to be there at 9 am but something happened and they said they were showing up at 7. Everything got packed up. I had to follow them to the furniture store b/c my bed was chilling out there. I live approximately 40 minutes from the furniture place. I was almost there when the car movers called to tell me that they were near my house. Which is all great except for the fact that I am 40 minutes away now. I told the dude that I wouldn't be able to make it back until 10 am.

10 am I was at home and car moving dude wasn't. He calls at 10:10 am to ask directions to my house (ahahaha). Yeah. Then apparently he needed to be at an auction by 11 am. There was no way he was gonna make it. Luckily, I knew where he was going to be because it happened to be close to where my family used to live before. I had a friend (Kat) pick me up and we hung out.

It was fun. We had pizza and we played DDR. LOVE DDR. I got to meet her puppy Grayson. GRAYSON HUMPED MY LEG! I was sooooooooo weirded out. Hahahaha. Thinking about it now still makes me feel weirded out. Aaaaahhhh. I thought only little dogs did that. Nope. Aaaah.

I called the moving company to make sure the weight of my things did not mysteriously climb up. And sure enough it did. I'm glad I checked it out now because it would have been a problem when we got to SV. And that's where rumors start becoming reality - the whole "if you don't pay this much, we keep your stuff" thing. I told the moving company I wanted a re-weigh (is that a word?!?) done.

I think that's pretty much it until thursday. I'll post if anything else come up. :)

Do they not weigh and then tally them up with you present, and then all sign off and keep a copy?

That's how it should be done, IMO.
